Nate just began coaching in 2022 after a successful playing career. Nate was a catcher for the AAA affiliate for the Kansas City Royals before coaching at his high school alma mater, Granite Bay. Granite Bay won the CIF section championship in 2021.
Nate is currently an Assistant Coach at Cal State Northridge.
Nate was a brief coach for the Wolves in 2022 as our 14u head coach and catching coordinator.

Noah Shackles - University of Nevada, Reno
Noah Shackles begins his first campaign in Reno after two seasons at Dallas Baptist, serving as the Patriots’ Director of Player Development. In 2021, Shackles served as a volunteer assistant with the Patriots, working with catchers and infielders, and helping guide the team to Missouri Valley Conference regular-season and tournament titles, capturing the Fort Worth Regional, and an appearance at the Columbia Super Regional. In 2022, the Patriots once again reached the postseason, appearing at the Austin Regional.
Shackles also has connections to the William Jessup program, having spent the 2020 campaign on the staff, working primarily with catchers and infielders.

Kupono Decker is in his first season as the Director of Operations at UNR. He had coaching stints at WIlliam Jessup and Yuba prior to landing in Reno.
Kupono played his college ball at San Mateo JC before transferring to William Jessup.
Kupono was most recently the Wolves 10u Head Coach in 2021.
